Never drink a warm drink again and you don't have to empty your bank account to buy this Simple Modern Vacuum Insulated Tumbler

Ok I know we have all heard of the Yeti tumblers that keep drinks cold for hours.  The problem with those they cost around $40.  I was given the chance to review a 30oz cup from Simple Modern. 

The Simple Modern Cup is:

I was a little skeptical when I saw it had a clear lid with a drink slot.  I thought without a lid that closes there is no way the drink will stay cold or hot.  With the 115 degrees we have here in AZ I decided to try the cold drink instead of hot.  I was AMAZED with the results.  I put a soda and a handful of ice in the tumbler at 12:16pm.  I tested the temp of the soda and it was 31.7 degrees.  All day I sipped on the drink and at 9:30pm the temp of the soda as 31.1 degrees.  No, my thermometer is not broken - The drink was still very cold and still had ice in it 9 hours later.

I have gone back to Amazon and purchased another one for my husband.  The Simple Modern tumbler comes in 8 colors.  I purchased the Apple Green one for myself and the "Simple Stainless" color for my husband.  The colored tumblers are $24.99 and the Simple Stainless tumbler is only $19.99.
