Gourmet Acacia Cutting Board 14" x 10" #TRUELIVINGREVIEWS

I purchased this cutting board made out of Acacia wood.  I had never heard of Acacia wood before purchasing this cutting board.  They are made from the Acacia Tree that is a sustainable wood making it an Eco-Friendly board.  The board isn’t as heavy as most wood cutting boards.  It is 11” x 14” and has a great groove around the outside of the board.  The groove is nice as it catches any juices that many run out of meats or fruits.  The first thing I cut was an onion.  After washing by hand with soap and water there was no smell of the onion on the board at all.

This board is nice enough that I think I will use it more as a serving platter.  It will work great to sever meat, cheese and crackers on as well as grapes, sliced apples, oranges, etc. The size and weight of the board will make it easy to walk around and serve guests.

I gave it a 4 **** just because I think the price is a little high.  I don’t know what Acacia wood costs so the cost might reflect that.
